We are pleased to announce the launch of Istanbul Anthropological Review (IAR), a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal of the Istanbul University Department of Anthropology.
Planned to be published once a year in December, IAR will cover empirical and theoretical research from all the subfields of anthropology and related humanities and social sciences, including interdisciplinary studies. The publication languages of the journal are English and Turkish.
IAR aims at reaching out to researchers from various fields of humanities and social sciences, primarily from anthropology with its all subfields, and at bringing them together with a multidisciplinary audience. IAR seeks to publish methodologically innovative interdisciplinary research, conceptual papers, and book reviews besides case studies using well-established research methods.
Processing and publication are free of charge with the journal. There is no article processing charges or submission fees for any submitted or accepted articles.
